Mintex Time & Observation Trial, Wessex Youth Training Squad Day, Wells Lawford TT Results

We’ve several things to share with you today.

First off Tom Cullimore was up at the Mintex Youth Time & Observation Trial in Swaledale at the weekend & came a creditable 7th. Good practice for a tilt at the Scott Trial in a couple of years time as several of the sections are used in both events. He’s doing a couple of European Age Group Trials Championship Rounds in August too. His chauffeur, Pete says

“Hi Frank,

The next Wessex Youth Training Day will be on 18/07/15 at Zona 1 Quarry, Nettleton, Glos. GL4 8LA. The Zona 1 club have kindly let us use their excellent venue for this event. Please can any Interested Wessex Youth Riders contact me on 07717 210168 to enter.
I will contact all of those riders who attended our first event a few months back with details of this event. Results attached from the Richmond Clubs Mintex Youth Time and Observation Trial in North Yorks yesterday.
See you soon.

Much closer to home than Swaledale, two Rounds of the British Ladies & Girls trials Championship ran over the weekend at Syde & Birdlip. in our neighbouring Western Centre Emma Bristow did the winning both days with Becky Cook & Donna Fox taking a 2nd & 3rd each. Victoria Payne had 5th & a 7th for her rides. Nice to see Chloe Cross supporting the Non Championship Ladies Sportsperson class with two thirds to Izzie Saunders two wins.

In  our own Centre, Wells & Dist. TC ran their Lawford Timed Trial on Sunday as well, & the Results are here Wells Lawford TT, 210615

That’s it for the moment: Frank

NSMSC: Fowlers Trophy TT Results

Hello all,

It seems as if it was business as usual at the Fowlers Trophy Time Trial on Wednesday! As Jerry Walters says

“In the Trials class Jason Hamblin took the top spot again, 19 marks ahead of in-form “Bingo Ben” Sinclair, with “newbie” Tom Culliford just a further 1 mark adrift in 3rd place. In the Scrambles class Andy Frost and Harvey Dark continued their Romaniacs training by taking 1st and 2nd places repectively, with Charlie Frost not far behind in 3rd.”

Centre Admin, BSSA Results & Entry Forms

Good evening all,

Firstly some admin stuff, which is self explanatory:–

Centre Board Meetings: the Board has decided that it will not meet in the months of August, January & May with immediate effect.

Clubs needing Permits for Events taking place from now to the end of September need to ensure that they have applied to the Permit Secretary before the end of this month.

Secondly some Results from last Sunday, the BSSA 4th Alan Brown Timed Trial are here, BSSA 4th Alan Brown Results 070615  & the Regs for their next BSSA T/Trial event  the BSSA Brian Hudson Regs & Entry Form 230815 have been sent over by Jan Watkins.

This Sunday has the West Wilts Tanner Trudge T/Trial up at Naish Hill near Lacock – see you there? There’s been some excellent riders with their name on the Trophy as TMX said a couple of weeks ago. If you have a long memory you’ll know that in the past it’s been a Round of the British Trials Championship, but it will retain it’s unique appeal I’m sure.
